[JY寫的] Friendship vs. Growth

Had a meaningful and heart-warming talk with Smallwhite last night... the conversation started up because we all felt somewhat emotional and frustrated recently... so we talked things out one by one... giving each other advice and trying to find out solutions to those problems... the talk was pretty long...for about 4 hours in total...till past mid night...

Smallwhite and me talked about when and what made us close to each other...and willing to open up to each other... since she has always been rather "cold" to strangers... haha... and the answer is "text message"... it was then that I realize this girl is actually paying a lot of attention on her friend... and I was deeply touched... anyway... we talked about work, about personal issues, and about friendship...

Having co-worked for about 1 and a half years... both of us have the same feeling that... what is most important in our work, is not just work itself... but our surroundings and colleagues...honestly... I would have to say... if I were to leave my current work, what I will treasure and take away with me is the friendship that we have from IAS... though our team is small... we really do share a strong bond... not just at work... but also outside of work... we play, laugh, cry together... it is really precious to me that we could become good friends not just so called colleagues... a lot of people were telling me that... work is work...the people you meet from work are just colleagues... but this is not true... to me... and I have experienced it... they are "FRIENDS"... and "Important FRIENDS".... Maybe sometimes we do fight a little bit... but it is all for the good... we learn from and share with each other our problems... giving each other a hug or pat on the shoulder whenever needed...its really heart-warming....

Amy, Angus, Betty, TPW, HJO, YHHS, Smallwhite, SS... each contributes to the spirit of our team... everyone is different... and everyone is unique... without any of you... our team would be different...and not united... So... no matter what happens... we shall give each other support and encouragement... we will continue to strive as a team... Good Luck to all of us!!! and love you all!

Especially to Angus, wish you all the luck on graduating from IAS... we shall keep in touch and maintain our friendship ~~~
